When my team suggested I do a “What’s in your bag post”, I was like hell yes! I’d love to share the passion products I use daily with my tribe! So, in no particular order of favorites, here’s what’s in my bag!
La Sirene Beauty Collagen
These little sachets contain a powerful serving of marine collagen sourced from the scales of wild caught Tilapia in Japan. The brand was founded by my sweet friend and Boss Mermaid Anixia, who is committed to changing the way current and future generations approach anti-aging remedies and preventative skincare. I try and remember to mix one up every morning but if I forget there’s always one in my bag! My favorite is the Orange Beauty Collagen with added Vitamins C and E + Coenzyme Q10. I have been taking this collagen for a few years now and it has been a visible game changer for my nails, skin and hair.
Au Naturale Lip Gloss
For as long as I can remember, I have been addicted to lip gloss! I shudder to think of the amount of petroleum I consumed before I discovered clean beauty. Enter Au Naturale Cosmetics. Their lip gloss is formulated without animal by-products, synthetic preservatives, nano particles, gluten, parabens, fillers or toxins. It is also100% natural, cruelty-free, vegan and made in the USA. All of the colors are beautiful, but Slip, their “barley there warm pink” goes everywhere with me to provide my lips with moisture and shine all day long. Hard yes!
Barre3 Water Bottle
Barre 3 is my jam and these are my people! This water bottle goes wherever I go throughout my day. It is a beautiful gold insulated metal situation that keeps my water cool all day. Plus, it’s Barre 3 branded so it’s a way for me to show support to a business I love when I am out and about in the world!
Nuun Tablets
Their website states that 75% of people live their lives chronically de-hydrated, what?? No thank you! I drop these electrolyte bombs in my water bottle on-the-go. I figure it’s better to stay ahead of the de-hydration game because de-hydration symptoms suck, and who has time for that? Because I don’t!
The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein
Ok everyone, if you have not gotten on the GB ride, I highly recommend you go for a spin! This grounded, humble, inspiring soul puts it all in to perspective for me. My copy of The Universe Has Your Back is beyond loved on with tattered dog eared pages, coffee stains and lots of pen ink! Practically the entire book is underlined with different pen colors from me re-reading it and continuing to find more nuggets that were not yet underlined and somehow slipped under the radar the first couple of reads! I cannot say enough about how much I love this lady. If you are looking to raise your vibration, or if you don’t even understand what that means but are curious, go there now! Word.
Nourish + Energize Eye Serum
I call her magic in a bottle. She is small but mighty! I travel a lot, and she’s always in my bag to come to the rescue on an airplane where the moisture in my face literally evaporates! On a plane I use it as a face oil, slathering forehead to chin. Usually, I get an eyeball peaking through the seats from the row in front of me asking, “what is that heavenly smell?”.
Citrine Crystal
We definitely have a crystal addiction taking place in our office, and there is not a bad one in the bunch! All of the babies have their own super powers but, it’s true, I am a little bit partial to the citrine. She is the master manifestor, attracting abundance, prosperity and success. She activates creativity, encourages self-expression, stimulates the brain and strengthens the intellect. Uh, yes please, you can absolutely go everywhere with me!
Everyday Sunscreen
You guys have heard me rant about the big fireball in the sky (aka the sun), well, this is my daily solution to combat the suns rays. I had the pleasure of participating in the Target Takeoff program along with the lovely Charlotte, founder of Everyday For Every Body. This Australian millennial didn’t like the icky sticky sunscreens full of chemicals out there so, like one does, she formulated her own! All of their products are cruelty free, reef safe, free of the “nasties” and packed with antioxidant rich ingredients like matcha, cucumber and seaweed. Oh my Bod, never leave home without it!
Soothe + Protect Antioxidant Balm
(It really is the balm!)
I use this little pocket-sized magic all day long. I am well aware of the neglect I have shown my neck in years past so I am actively working to repair our relationship, and the balm is bridging that gap! It’s also great for on-the-go glowy cheeks, hydrating cuticles, repairing skin + fading scars (like the one I currently have on the back of my hand!). I, like others I know, have them stashed everywhere. You can find it in my bathroom, on my desk or bedside table, in my purse…you get the picture. She’s everywhere repair!
Dang Bar
I am a snacker! I don’t really eat “meals” I just graze throughout the day. Seriously, I can usually be found with a bowl of blueberries and coconut yogurt, or a spoon full of peanut butter in my hand! These Dang Bars are an ideal go to for the way I like to eat. They are low carb and made with whole foods, plant based fats, no added sugar, vegan and gluten free. And they taste great! Check check and check!
