From the very beginning of my Olive + M journey as a single mother of two, my main goal was to create clean and effective products that a single mom could plug into her budget, so I did. I have a culinary background, so I went to the kitchen and began blending formulas of my own — rogue style kitchen chemistry. Four years later, Olive + M was born.
I have continued to carry a passion for researching and utilizing powerhouse ingredients that are approachable. Ingredients people understand and aren't scared to put on their body, because they are putting it in their body. Because of this precedent, I am very intentional when I formulate. Every ingredient matters and plays a role in the efficacy of our formulas. I always say, we didn't invent this. Cleopatra used olive oil in her ancient beauty regimen. We're just bringing it back into the forefront, keeping it clean, and making its beauty benefits accessible to all.
To maintain our naturally beautiful skin, we don't have to compromise our own well-being, or the well-being of our planet. Mother Nature has laid the bounty before us, we just need to respectfully utilize her offerings. I intend to do just that!
We are passionate about active plant ingredients and their benefits. Plant-based oils are packed with nutrients that restore your face and body to their naturally-radiant state. And, contrary to popular belief, oil-based products do not make your skin oily. The plant-based oils in our formulas actually work to balance out oil production, without stripping your skin of its natural oils or protective barrier—resulting in a refreshed, healthy glow. When we utilize ingredients that have felt the sun and the soil, we're able to create products that naturally work in harmony with our skin—never against it.

All of our products are made with a base of pure olive oil, a powerful natural oil that contains hydroxytyrosol, the most powerful natural antioxidant discovered to date. Hydroxytyrosol, found in olive fruit and leaves, helps repair and protect against free radicals, or damage caused by sun exposure, air pollution and other modern day environmental stressors. They also have the natural ability to stimulate cell growth and return our skin to a firmer, smoother and healthier state. As if it wasn't packed with enough goodness already, olive oil resembles the molecular makeup of our body's natural oils, allowing it to penetrate quickly and easily to affect our skin at the deepest level.
We believe that quality skincare should be inclusive and accessible to all.
